CANCELLATIONS
Your appointment is very important to us and we reserve special time for your appointments.
We give you a 24 hours courtesy notice for cancellations for your hair appointment.
If you cancel the same day of your appointment you will be charged for the full appointment.
Our appointments are confirmed 24 hours in advance via phone, text, or email.

If you miss 3 consecutive no-show appointments without contacting the salon, or make 3 consecutive cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, individual stylists or the salon reserve the right to refuse future appointments being booked.
LATE POLICY:
Appointments are reserved with necessary time for each service. We understand that sometimes being late is unavoidable. However, tardiness can be a disruption in serving you and other clients, so we do ask that if you are running late to please notify us by phone.
A 5 minute grace period is given on all appointments.
After 10 minutes, services may be forfeited, shortened, or rescheduled due to the stylist's availability.
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Modern Tekniques is committed to a respectful, professional environment for both guests and staff. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services at our discretion, including (but not limited to) situations involving:
• Repeated dissatisfaction where we are unable to meet expectations.
• Requests that fall outside our scope or cannot be accommodated safely.
• Inappropriate, threatening, or disrespectful communication or behavior.
• Repeated last-minute cancellations/no-shows, or
• Concerns about the safety, timing, or feasibility of the service.
If we determine we are not the best fit, we may recommend an alternative provider. Any deposits and refund decisions will follow our published booking/cancellation policy.
EXTENSIONS
Modern Tekniques will only be liable for extensions that we put in because we know the quality of the product we are using.
We will never be liable or responsible for extensions that were originally put in by someone else.
